WCK Providing Meals to Navajo Nation After SNAP Delays (Nov. 2025)

von WORLD CENTRAL KITCHEN INCORPORATED

World Central Kitchen’s Relief Team is supporting the Navajo Nation in Pinon, Arizona, after delays in SNAP food assistance caused by the U.S. government shutdown. More than one-third of families here rely on SNAP, so our teams are working with local partners to distribute food kits that ensure families have a reliable source of nourishment as the delays persist.

We are also currently responding to the 2025 government shutdown with our #ChefsForFeds program, serving meals to federal workers and their families impacted by the shutdown.

In 2020, WCK worked alongside the Navajo Nation during the COVID-19 pandemic, partnering with local leaders to deliver more than 2.6 million meals in the form of food kits across the reservation and help ensure families had reliable access to food.

WCK is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. When disaster strikes, WCK’s Relief Team mobilizes to the frontlines with the urgency of now to start cooking and provide meals to people in need. By partnering with organizations on the ground and activating a network of food trucks or emergency kitchens, WCK provides freshly made, nutritious meals to communities impacted by disasters quickly and effectively. We know that good food provides not only nourishment, but also comfort and hope, especially in times of crisis around the world.

WCK has provided more than 500 million fresh, nourishing meals for communities around the world. Your donation today will be used to support our emergency food relief efforts.
