WCK's Response to Historic Blizzard in Massachusetts (Feb. 2026)

, WORLD CENTRAL KITCHEN INCORPORATED

A Northeast US blizzard has left hundreds of thousands of families without power and dumped up to 3 feet of snow across the region, disrupting food access.

WCK teams are en route to Cape Cod to work with local partners to ensure families have the meals they need as power and heating systems come back online. Our teams are closely monitoring the situation to identify other communities in need. This remains a quickly evolving situation.

WCK is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. When disaster strikes, WCK’s Relief Team mobilizes to the frontlines with the urgency of now to start cooking and provide meals to people in need.

By partnering with organizations on the ground and activating a network of food trucks or emergency kitchens, WCK provides freshly made, nutritious meals to communities impacted by disasters quickly and effectively. We know that good food provides not only nourishment, but also comfort and hope, especially in times of crisis.

With over 600 million meals served globally, WCK continues to bring relief, one plate at a time. Your donation today fuels this mission—helping us reach more people, faster, when they need it most.
